![]() Paladin 1 is pretty bad doesn't even get spells. (Forge for +1 AC, Knowledge for two skill checks with expertise, Life for a bit more healing). ![]() It gets a pact magic slot which is.not as good as full spellcasting progression, but it's something.Ĭleric won't really get you more healing (unless you go life cleric for your subclass), but it'll get you medium armour, shields, full spellcasting progression, 3 cantrips, and a subclass feature. (Medium armour, shields, CHA based weapon attacks, two cantrips). Hope this helped! I have Divine Soul at level 3 as well and would recommend you wait until lvl 5 before you MC so you can get Fireball/Lightning Bolt and Revivify first. This option is good if you want lots of burst potential and a small heal, oh and they reset on short-rests too! d10 hit-die is nice, Second Wind is a nice little d10 + 1 (basically a bonus action Cure Wounds), plus Action Surge is amazing if you want to double heal in one turn or do lots of damage. Plus there is a cheese you can do called "Coffee-Lock" that you sacrifice your Warlock spells for Sorc points and turn them into spell slots, take a short rest, use those warlock spells again for points then for slots etc.įighter isn't a bad choice especially if you are willing to push it to level 2. Pact of the Chain isn't so bad either since you can deliver Touch spells with it from far away and you can take the Gift of the Ever-Living Ones Invocation to max healing on yourself in a pinch. If you are willing to push the multiclass to level 3, you can get Armor of Shadows Invocation to save you a spell slot with at-will Mage Armor, Pact of the Tome with Book of Ancient Secrets will make you feel like a Wizard with tons of out of combat utility as well. Definitely pick up Eldritch Blast and Armor of Agathys for survivability/damage and it can be upcasted to be more effective. ![]() Life Cleric dip frees up a lot of lvl 1 spells since you can prepare them each day, you get Heavy Armor prof if you have the strength if not medium armor is there too, it gives a good bump to your healing as well (level of healing spell + 2 healing) You need a 13 wisdom to MC into cleric and you use wisdom has your spell casting mod so pick spells like Guidance, Bless, Shield of Faith etc that dont require rolls/saves. If you do have 1-2 of those spells yet still feel very squishy then you could try these. If not then you should, the reason why casters are squishy is because they can do really cool and powerful spells including strong defensive spells that keep them alive. r/DnD /r/rpg /r/Pathfinder_RPG /r/tabletop /r/UnearthedArcana /r/DnDHomebrew /r/dndnext Related Non-TTRPG Subreddits r/characterdrawing /r/Imaginar圜haracters /r/alternativeart On-Topic Subreddits Abide by the Homebrew Content Guidelines.Don't just advertise things, even if they're relevant. ![]() If your post fits with a megathread, post there. ![]() SFW posts should not receive NSFW comments.
